"My world" by Hadaina Y

      “ My room is heaven”. This is strongly showed how I love my bedroom. My bedroom is the favourite spot and room that I love in my house. I enjoy my bedroom because it describes me. The part that describes me were the wall colour, bed sheet, wardrobe and etc .  My bedroom is situated between my youngest brother’s room and kitchen. My room approximately 13X9 feet. It is not a big room but it’s just nice for a teenage girl like me!

     

     Over the years, my room has changed from being a “kid” room to being a “teenage” room. When I was a little girl, I used to share room with my sister. My mother love to decor our room and it looks very girlish. However, when I grew up I doesn’t like my room which looks like kindergarten and both my sister and me want a privacy. We refused to stay in the same room.  I finally moved to my own room when my brother has to move out as he’s getting married. That was the best day ever in my entire life. When I feel happy, sad, frustrated and all sort of feelings, my bedroom will be the first place I go. Locked myself in room, play the music and sing aloud, no one would disturb me in “my world”.

    

      Literally, my room doesn’t looks like a girl room. That’s the major reason why I can’t share bedroom with my sister. She loves pink, but I love black. My room is painted with turquoise and white. I choose turquoise as I want my room looks different and the wall colour gave me spirit, peaceful and relax. Avoiding my room being too dark, I painted two walls, which is opposite to each other with white. There’s one window in my room. I can view my mum’s garden from the window. The curtains was blue in colour which is I sew by myself. I have a single bed that can help me to save space in my room. I love my bed because it is comfortable. The pillow is very fluffy! The comforter on my bed is purple and white. It is plain colour as I don’t like any design on it. Besides of my bed was my dressing table and mirror. I put all my accessories and “girl thing” there. It describes the girly side of me.

     

     Besides that, there is one set personal computer in my bedroom. In other hand, I got two wardrobe where I hang all my favourite and massive outfit in. As I’m fashion lovers, one cupboard is not enough for me. Next to my wardrobe was my book shelf. I used to put all my school books there. But now, after recycled my unnecessary books, I put all my stuff there. At the corner of my room, is my most favourite possession which is a set of guitar and bass. The bedroom decoration was simple. I decorated my bedroom by myself. There were posters on my walls. My likeable is The Beatles poster because I can feel the sense there that inspired me a lot in life. I also decorated my personal computer with cute stickers by myself so it does not look dull.

     

     To be frank I love my bedroom so much. No doubt. I’m looking forward to have mural paint in my bedroom. Sometimes, bedroom can play an important role in our life. Plus, it show and describe the personality of people. If you love being in messy room with a bad smell and untidy bed, it obviously can show how type of person you are. My bedroom is my world. Whatever it looks on people eyes, it is all come from my heart.
